A good player these days has become a prized possession. All the time we hear about transfer records being broken. In recent past, clubs have shelled out huge amounts, to get services of their desired player. So, in this context transfer windows become increasingly important, to maintain a good team. This season is on the brink of its end. With the end of this season, clubs have sorted out the players they want for the next season. There are also some clubs, who have secured the signature of the players before the transfer window. Here are 5 players who have signed for their new club before the transfer window:-
1. Nabil Bentaleb: Tottenham Hotspur to Schalke
The 22-year old youngster climbed up the ranks from Spurs youth academy to the first team. His first two seasons at the club (2013-14 and 2014-15) were very impressive. He played a pivotal role in their wins and had cemented his spot in the team. On International duty, the Algerian suffered a knee injury, which kept him out for quite a while. In order to get some playing time under his belt after returning from injury, he was sent to Schalke on loan. Schalke saw potential in the youngster and bought him from the spurs. They bought him for a price tag of 16m Pounds and announced that he will officially be a Schalke player, after the end of his loan period.
2. Simone Zaza: Juventus to Valencia
The 25-year Italian player did not get enough chances to the Old Lady due to the presence of Dybala, Mandzukic and Higuain. As a result, he was loaned out to West Ham, so that he could get enough opportunities to play. There also, he did not get many minutes to play due to a clause in his contract. The clause required West Ham to sign the player for 20m Pounds if they made him play 15 matches. He was then, loaned to a struggling Valencia, where he found his feet. Valencia signed him for 16m Pounds, which keeps him at the club until 2021. One of his best goals came against Real Madrid, where he helped his team to win against the Galacticos.
3. and 4. Niklas Sule and Sebastian Rudy: Hoffenheim to Bayern Munich
Both Hoffenheim defenders have been pivotal in Hoffenheim’s rise this season. Hoffenheim have only lost thrice this season, which is only bettered by Bayern Munich. They have taken Bundesliga by storm this season and are making their presence felt.
The 21-year old defender Sule has been solid at the back and has shown good skills in the opponent’s box as well. He has played with both 4-man defense and a 3-man defense and has done exceedingly well in both. His good form attracted interest from Bayern and they have got his signature, for providing his services to the club.
His team-mate, 27-year old Rudy is a center back and has taken up his responsibilities as a defender really well. He is also signed by Bayern along with Sule. However, Rudy is having a free transfer to the Bundesliga Champions.
5. Kingsley Coman: Juventus to Bayern Munich
The 20-year old youngster has already won league titles in France, Italy, and Germany. He didn’t play any major role in the PSG’s Ligue 1 triumph, nor did he contribute much in Serie A triumph of Juventus. However, he has made sincere contributions in Bayern’s title victory in Germany. He was sent on a loan spell of 2-years to Bayern Munich. Bayern, being impressed by the player, has bought the player from Juventus. The entire transfer cost Bayern 35m Euros. With Ribery and Robben coming closer to their retirement, Coman will be a good long-term replacement for them.
