Know All About The Summer's Blockbusters Through This Mashup Trailer

Summer 2017 Blockbusters

IGN

It's that time of year again. Holidays, Cool Beverages, Food and MOVIES. Summer every year witnesses lots of new movies due to the breaks and holidays of most people. While India has lion's share in this season, some Hollywood flicks also make their way to people's hearts.

Movie Montages

This year, a lot of Hollywood blockbusters are on the way and this means - Montages and Mashups. Like the year-end recaps and blockbuster-montages of that year, Summer blockbuster mashups are not new.

Typically, A mashup or montage is a collection of video clips from various sources edited together generally with a background song with/without meaning. We can find plenty of these on YouTube and there are even dedicated channels for this kind of videos.

The problem with these videos is the often lack of synergy between the clips and songs, between clips itself and the purpose of the video itself. Tailoring different videos into a single meaningful piece is very difficult and rare.

Summer Blockbusters Mashup by AMONymous

Verge found out the mashup video by YouTube user AMONymous which led us to watch the video once and we fell in love with the video. Edited by AMONymous - Amon Warmann's screen name, this video features some of the upcoming blockbusters of this summer along with the song "Feel Invincible" by a Christian Rock Band named Skillet.

The video can be seen here

The movies included in this montage are

  • Guardians of Galaxy Vol.2 (Marvel Sequel)
  • Spiderman Homecoming (Marvel Reboot)
  • War of the Planet of the Apes (Sequel)
  • Alien: Covenant (Sequel)
  • Valerian and the City of Thousand Planets (New)
  • Atomic Blonde (New)
  • Dunkirk (New)
  • Baby Driver (New)
  • Transformers: The Last Knight (Sequel)
  • Baywatch (TV Adaption)
  • The Mummy (Reboot)
  • Pirates of Carribean: Dead Men tells no Tales (Sequel)
  • King Arthur: Legend of the Sword (New)
  • Cars 3 (Sequel)
  • The Dark Tower (New)
  • Wonder Woman (DC Universe)

While most the movies are sequels and reboots, the majority of remaining are adaptions of TV and novels. While some of these are already out in the theatres, the rest will reach your nearest theatre soon.

While every movie is highly anticipated, the movies like Wonder Woman, Guardians of Galaxy Vol.2, Spiderman Homecoming, Transformers: The Last Knight and Pirates of Carribean are highly likely to be the box-office breakers with Mummy, Alien Covenant and War of the Planet of the Apes and Dunkirk critically acclaimed.

The video spans about 4 minutes 11 seconds with every shot being perfectly edited and synced. Using "Feel Invincible" is the best choice the user has made in making one of the best montages that fully summarises the upcoming Hollywood flicks.

The video features perfect synergy between the clips and the song with the flow being smooth and the syncing of the scene and the song lyrics make this montage stand out. Check the video right now before it goes viral.
